The firm founded in 2002 after a spin-off from one of the largest Hungarian law firms is one of the leading legal counsels in Hungary, connected to a network of attorneys at law in Europe, providing legal counselling in all fields of business law and cross-border transactions in close co-operation with the German law firm Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH ("Luther").

Formerly associated with Arthur Andersen and then with Ernst & Young until the end of 2006.

Today, Gobert, Fest & Partners Attorneys at Law is one of Hungary’s 10 largest law firms and the founding member of the PMLG group. Our clients are major and multinational companies from the USA, EU, Middle East as well as local companies and institutions, funds, private companies and other entities.

PMLG

As of January 2007, in a move to build one of the leading associations of European law firms Pinsent Masons in the UK and Luther in Germany formed the Pinsent Masons Luther Group (PMLG). Dr. Arne Gobert, Managing Partner of Gobert, Fest & Partners Attorneys at Law is a board member of PMLG, and also holds a position as a Network Co-ordination Partner of the Real Estate Focus Group in the region.

This pan-European network provides a formidable cross-boarder legal service resource for clients doing business in the region. As member of PMLG, we offer legal services in all areas of commercial business activities. We provide our clients one stop shop services and, therefore, we often coordinate regional transactions advising our clients in various neighbouring countries on cross-border acquisitions or local investments.
